Thanks to my procrastination, this post only managed to be published on the blog today! It was sitting in my draft folder for a very long time. Besides, I have photos from a couple of my trips which I have yet to post. I doubt if I could remember the name of the places :p
Those who like branded merchandises, Paris is definitely a place for you. Branded and luxury shops can be found along the main streets of the city. Apart from shopping, it's indeed an ideal place to appreciate the historical buildings and sites. They are magnificient and tastefully designed. The one thing that bothered me during my trip was the pollution.
To be fair, the French was not as arrogant or rude as most people perceived. Most of the people I met were helpful and rather friendly. It was still a fact that not everyone could speak English. Body language was necessary as a mode of communication.
In terms of food, I love the escargots! All in all, I had an enjoyable trip. Thanks Tina for accomodating me. By far, you are my best travel companion (apart from my sis).
The impressive architecture of Notre Dame
Cathedral de Notre Dame. Magnificient and handsomely built ;)
Its front view
There was a free performance by a band at the park. I reckoned it was a newly formed local band.
A nice weather to walk around, though a little too hot
I recalled this was the compound of a university in Paris. Snapped a photo from the gate as I thought it was beautiful :p
Mmm..the best way to remember which picture is linked to which place is to take a snapshot of the signboards, especially if you only post the photos after some time. I was heading to the Pantheon (now I recall!)
The Pantheon! Yet another canal in Europe. It did remind me a little of Prague but I thought the ones in Prague were prettier.
Seemed like I was very fascinated by the canal that I took so many shots of it! Hahaha. Tina and I at the Notre Dame (I went there again with Tina the following day after going there alone the day before)
