Maid Cafe

Japan is never short of kinky and creative cultures. Cosplay has been very popular among youngsters and otakus. The craze has opened up creativity to the introduction of Cosplay Restaurants, where we have Maid Cafes and Butler Cafes. This culture had made its way to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada and Singapore.

Malaysia is a new comer in the list. Kissa Koyotei Cafe is somewhat the first Maid Cafe in Malaysia. Located in Georgetown, Penang, the cafe was set up by a Japanese and his wife in November 2007. A detailed review of the cafe can be found here.
