The very first night we landed at Taipei, Taiwan, we were chauffeured to a spot where night life is wild - Xi Men Ding. Our hotel should have been in Xi Men Ding according to the initial plan of our itinerary. To our disappointment, it was changed to Meadow Hotel at Chang Chung Road in Taipei.
Xi Men Ding reminded me of Strøget (Walking Street) in Copenhagen. Only that the former has an Asian feel with Asian interesting delicacies and fashion.
