My colleague and I were checking how many days of leaves left for the rest of the year. I still have 31.5 days!! There's a sudden rush of impulse to go for a long, long vacation. My sister and I was actually talking about going to Australia.
Much to my desperation, I checked each and every possible dates in AirAsia's website to obtain the best price. I was ambitious to even think of covering South Australia, a small part of Western Australia and Tasmania in about 14 days! Yeah, nuts I am.

No, you're not nuts at all. Since you have so many days of leave and while you're there, it is sensible enough to tour as much of the country as you can to make the best out of it. May be can drop by NZ too? Hehehe
its good to enjoy and travel when young! moreover you are financial independent now. i did my western europe tour after grad and was so damn poor thereafter, but i am rich spiritually :)
Doreen - Haha, exactly but I need to complete my current project first. I had thought of going to NZ instead as it's cheaper than AUS. Will definitely look for you when I come ;)
sdovelly - Haha,..agree but I am not that "rich" yet financially. Quite underpaid compared to my friends. I hope to do a Europe tour one day too!!
Geographically, it makes more sense to cover Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia since they're cluttered together. I'd suggest 5 days for Tasmania alone. It takes a fair bit of time to travel between places and there's so much to see and do if you're into nature sightseeing. :)

Wow.. shen shen... so nice you still got 1 month leave to take. Must go Aus and NZ as you've got so many leave.
i only had 8 days remain.. i plan to go Mel end of the yr Dec to attend my bro's convocation.

NZ is cheaper than Aus? How come? I thought NZ is further away from Malaysia, should be more expensive? Yeah, if you do come, must look for me. :)
